My first ever longboard. I have been snowboarding in the Alps quite a bit about 10 years ago and I was searching to regain that feeling. One problem. There are no mountains in the Netherlands! Looking around I fell in love with the shape and the description of a "snowboard-feeling" in one of the other reviews. And that's exactly the feeling this board is giving me! My bicycle (a normal mean of transportation in the Netherlands) has been left allmost unattended since I've bought the Retrofish. (Posted on 7/30/11)

I bought the board following a visit to the beach with a family member that introduced me to SUP. I wanted to get into something like SUP, but live inland without much access to water so I bought the board and big stick. --- Best decision ever! I bought this board a couple months ago and ride it everywhere since I am without a car in college. This board is like a snowboard on wheels when its broken in! So much fun!! highly suggest it to whoever wants a sweet ride smooth bouncy ride. Never skate boarded or longboarded before I bought this one, just snowboarded. So easy to learn on. I'm 41, and used to ride when I was a kid. I came across Kahuna Creations not too long ago, and was intrigued by the Big Stick, so I ordered this board along with a Big Stick to get back into riding and get back into shape. This package gives you a full all over body workout in no time. I haven't hit any hills yet, but on flat land you can get going pretty good using the Big Stick. The board is very responsive and comfortable to ride. I recommend it to anyone that wants to get back into board riding or anyone that wants to get into better shape. (Posted on 9/29/10)
