Sexy Flexy! Review by RD

After starting my land paddle sojourn by purchasing a Bombora cruiser, I decided to slowly work my way down in size and maneuverability with the purchase of the Haka 47. What an incredible, visually beautiful pintail cruiser with rich attention to detail in its construction. Its carving ability without sacrificing stability for we older paddlers is off the charts ( especially going downhill ). What a blast! The Douglas Fir Kahuna Big Stick along with the stained wood finish of the maple Haka make for a great combo.

Enjoy and mahalo :^) (Posted on 1/20/14)
A great land paddling experience Review by CB

The Haka is a great deck, stable enough to point your feet forward when desired to paddle comfortably on both sides, but lets you carve pretty deeply when you want, I can even get a bit of pumping going. Wheels, and bearings are smooth and fast and the trucks eat up most bumps in the road. The board is surprisingly stable at moderately high speeds (no death wobble yet). lava sand is great and provides a good grip. I do find that it has some flex (I'm 190lbs) but like it that way.

The adjustable big stick is good fun and a good workout and seems sturdy enough to last well, although the blade seems to wear pretty fast even though I don't use it to brake - perhaps the new premium blade will wear better. All around a great experience, and once i get happier with hills (which generally stink with a land paddle) I'll be cruising for distance on this. Great ride. (Posted on 7/1/13)

This is the third Kahuna Creations board we've bought, and they keep getting better each time. I'm not a small guy and this thing lets me act like I am. (Posted on 6/6/13)

This is my second Kahuna purchase; first was a Hydro 44 last year for my daughter and I love riding it so much I bought this one for me.
Looks, style and quality is again top notch.
Feel, control, rolling resistance is awesome, flexier and nicer over sidewalk heaves with the upgrade wheels. Carves as pretty as can be.
Poor Hydro, no longer stolen by Dad... (Posted on 4/2/13)

I bought this board yesterday and it rides AMAZING

I have ridden long boards and cruisers so i decided to purchase this because of the sick design, great trucks, and wheels.

You can make turns look easy on this board.

NO CONS (Posted on 7/9/12)

Good solid board Review by Long Rider

Pros: Great board for using a land paddle as it is super stiff; mine came with Paris trucks, long stable board, looks very cool

Cons: No flex so road imperfections trickier; wheels of some high durometer, bearings roll well, sand wears off after a relatively short time and it's not possible to replace, truck mounting hardware rusted but looks right with board top.

Overall a pretty good value for the money and it works great with the big stick. (Posted on 2/13/12)

Saw this board at a local kayak shop and my daughter loved it. Got 1 for her and tried it myself and had to order 1 for myself as well. Been years since I was on a board but the Kahuna Haka Cruisermakes it seem like yesterday. Highly recommend you try it but warn you may get hooked. Smooth easy ride and fun too. (Posted on 12/27/11)
