This Bombora board is awsome my 8 year son was hesitant on standing on a traditional skateboard worring board would slip out from underneath him. When board arrive being so big he felt confident with size and started riding. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Board quality is great. My son loves this board. He rides everyday. Just pulled my coral Bombora and adjustable big stick out of the box. The board is beautiful. I was stoked that the board was actually orange instead of red, like in the pics. The whole set-up is SWEET! I'm heading out for a cruise. Will send an updated review later, maybe.... (Posted on 9/6/12)

PROS:
1. The width allows to mimic SUP stance having both feet pointing forward. Since you're not riding regular or goofy, you activate your abdominal area resulting with a greater mid-section workout.
2. The width also does a great job covering the wheels effectively preventing your Big Stick from hitting them.
3. It's so long you can take passengers or a small duffle bag!

CONS:
1. Due to its length you'll need to be creative to turn this thing sharply.
2. I was disappointed the deck does not have grip tape. Unfortunately the website description did not state this. I would've preferred a clear semi-rough grip tape.
3. Heavy.

CONCLUSION:
If you get one, you're getting it primarily because of its width. This makes it a great board to SUP on land when you're not feeling like getting on the water. Great for apprehensive beginners due to its size and stability but at the same time beginners won't appreciate having to lug it around since it's so huge. Without the Kahuna Big Stick, this board isn't very fun since it feels like you're pushing and carving the Titanic of skateboards. (Posted on 8/9/12)

I received the board by surprise because i wasn't expecting it to arrive for another day or two and instantly unboxing it and basking at its glories gave me chills down my back that only that really hot girl/guy you had a crush on back in highschool. My wife says its too big, ofcourse i would respond in a witty "thats what she said" comment. I took it out to the beach side with my kahuna big stick and instantly im the coolest guy on the beach. Drivers would honk at me, give me thumbs up, children want to examine the board and ride it and all other sorts of attention. The board is very firm and it feels smooth to ride even on rough surfaces. Due to being 6'2 this board fits my height. Its alot cheaper than having to purchase a 1000$ Stand up paddle board lmao (Posted on 7/27/12)

This is my first foray into board riding. I saw the Bombora and Big Stick on Gizmag and thought cool. Was amazed at my first ride. Took some experimenting but was thrilled. Getting better and learning each ride. The stick and Bombora combination is outstanding. I am 6'4", mid 50s and feel very comfortable on the board. Easy to ride, easy to control, and a smooth pleasant ride. People who have seen me out all rubber neck. Nobody here has ever seen anything like a Bombora or Big Stick. My compliments to the Kahuna team for creating a great board and stick. Looking forward to more riding on the local recreational trail system instead of just my local streets.

This coral Bombora longboard is by far my favorite longboard i have ever ridden. super smooth, wide - but not too wide, the wheels are incredible. especially love riding with the Bamboo big stik. Love it! (Posted on 5/14/12)
