- Awesome board Review by MikeH

The board looks and rides awesome. It's a smooth ride, and it carves like a dream. You can really lay into the turns, and there's enough flex in the board to build your speed back with smaller, tighter carves. I've only hit small hills so far, so I can't speak for really bombing hills, but it handled well on the hills I've hit so far without any wobbles.
Finally, it is just a cool looking board. The artwork really makes it stand out, and every time I've ridden it, I've had random people, sometimes people who I could never imagine riding a skateboard, coming up to me and complementing me on the board.
I didn't do much research on the bearings, trucks and wheels, but it rides with speed and carves well, so I have no complaints.
I hadn't been riding all that much in the last few years, but this board has me back out again. I'm glad that I bought it! (Posted on 10/3/13)
- Naturally fitting Review by longboard stoke

The construction of the board is solid, the grip is fail-proof, the slight flex tames the rough pavement. Being uni directional and paired with Bear flippable trucks, I was able to fine tune the ride to my taste-more responsive front, tamer back-.
Last but not least, the black inked graphics on natural wood give it a timeless appearance, on a high tech and well designed longboard. (Posted on 9/22/13)
- Truly Outstanding! Review by The Old Man

Chief Freewind must be a very knowledgeable skateboard designer as this board is really excellent. The deck design and layout is similar to but better than a Landyachtz Switchblade - which is considered to be the top drop deck board for 2012. This board works great with a Big Stick as your feet are low to the ground and the foot pockets hold your feet well. There is just the right amount of flex in the board for this 200lb’er. The pockets also make it easier to slide the board but the stock wheels are a bit soft and you need some speed (think downhill) to try to slide. The Bear Grizzly 852’s it comes with are probably the best cast trucks available. If you weigh as much as I do you may want to consider higher durometer bushings like Venoms if you’re going fast enough to slide. This board would make an awesome downhill board with some 40-degree trucks.
This truly is an outstanding board and in my view not only the best KC board but also probably one of the best boards available anywhere given the looks, the design and the price. It truly is a top board for 2013 and KC should sell a bunch. Buy it – you will not regret it.
