Big Stick Classic

I was looking for a good way to cross train for a triathlon without doing the same three activities over and over. I found a great cardio, core, and upper body workout with the Big Stick. It is moderately weighted but has a great feel to it. This stick in particular is pretty stiff, so if you don't have a lot of upper body strength, you might want one with more flex to help generate momentum.
That being said, I have to agree with the other reviews. Stretch before use or you will be sore. Work up to longer distances... you don't have to conquer the long rides first. Also, gloves are a must (at least in the beginning) until you build up some calluses.
