Drop Deck 43" - Bamboo
- Product Review (submitted on November 2, 2013):
Really low to the ground and really nice for carving. I have had some boards that hit gravel and just stop, but this just rolls on. I am currently living in Florida's Gulf Mexico where ther e are pot holes larger than apartment,s ,,,and there is no asphalt- only gravel, cement and ground up shells. If your board can roll on these roads- and day by day Florida outlaws yet another city or beach town from skating- anywhere- you can skate- you are lucky. Lucky me- over 50 , and Sheriffs just think its pretty cool to see an old guy in reflective gear and flashing flights still skating. Stellar workmanship, sturdy board, awesome carver, Really good control, really good performance.
An absolute piece of art. One thing I wish I could choose were the wheels. Not right for every roads.....guess awesome on blacktops, but slow on gravelly roads.Gravel has not been repaired or repaved because the average resident is 86 and legally blind, but if you are long boarding or skateboarding, not so good. I have worn out many sticks and shoes.....Finally, a faster, easier to control board! I really enjoyed the black wave and started taking it out for many hours a week. Believe me, this is a board you need in your quiver because its a one of a kind piece of functional art that will last you as long as you want it to last. You may have to eventually change the wheels, bearings and bushings, but the deck will outlive you and probably just get better with age. Buy it, really, its totally worth it. Its not a board that is mass produced.
